Under direction of the Lead Houseperson, separates all dirty linen as specified through orientation. Delivers the carts of separated linen to the loading dock and retrieves delivered clean linen to the service level for storage.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes, but is not limited to the following)

  • Collect soiled linen from the chute and separate into linen carts provided by our linen supplier.
  • Physically stock and maintain linen rooms.
  • Work additional hours on short notice as requested by supervisor, in order to accommodate one of the following: staffing emergency, employee absence, fluctuation in business levels, special projects, etc.
  • Deliver dirty linen carts to the loading dock for pick up and retrieve incoming clean linen carts.
  • Maintain a clean working area, free of debris.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Learn and uphold the quality customer service standards of the Silver Legacy Resort at all times.
  • Personal appearance standards are to be maintained at all times.
  • Attend department meetings as required by management.
  • Understand and follow Orientation manual, Housekeeping manual and Emergency/Evacuation
  • procedures.
  • Complete training of Bloodborne Pathogen procedures.
  • Regular, punctual and predictable attendance and ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, which is required.
  • Other job related duties as may be assigned.


  • Good organizational skills follow all polid regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff.
  • Ability to read, and communicate verbally in English and Spanish.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented. Possess initiative, high energy level.
  • Good personal hygiene. Knowledge of chemical use, OSHA regulations, and Biohazard cleanup procedures.
